dc.description.abstract This descriptive study used an adopted questionnaire administered to 50 randomly selected nurses working in the home care setting. It aimed not only to determine the extent of the nurse’s skill in assessing the physiologic and behavioral pain responses of nonverbally communicative patients with disorders of consciousness but also to identify encountered problems influencing their skill to assess pain. Simple mean, percentage, inter-rater agreement, and ranking were used to treat the obtained results. en_US
