The major purpose of the study is to describe the Performance of Nurses in Rendering Nursing Care to Amputated Clients in a Government Hospital. The study made use of a descriptive type of research. The data gathered were treated using weighted means. The F-test through the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) tested at 0.05 level of significance was used to test the null hypothesis. In the case of rejection, Scheffe test was applied.

This study aimed to determine the correlates of infection control activities among Operating Room Personnel in selected hospitals in La Union. The method used in this study was the descriptive design using a questionnaire to gather data in the study. For the profile, frequency and percentages were used; weighted mean was utilized to treat the extent of performance to infection control activities. One way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to determine the significant difference on the extent of performance to infection control activities according to their profile. The following are the salient findings: Most of the infection control activities were always performed by the Operating Room Personnel. There is no significant difference on the extent of performance according to age, sex, and designation but are significant to length of experience and number of trainings attended.
